After a multi-year planning effort, Dancing Dog Design Build is proud to announce that the Jughandle Farm Bunkhouse and Classroom Space project has broken ground.

Jug Handle Creek Farm and Nature Center has received over $750,000 in funding from the California State Coastal Conservancy to provide low-cost lodging on the Mendocino coast.

In collaboration with the staff and the Jug Handle Board of Directors, Dancing Dog Design Build designed a 2,300-square foot building that includes 1,280 square feet of multi-use event/classroom space and 1,020 square feet of lodging divided into two bunkrooms and two family lodging rooms. The facility also includes a bath house for bunk house and campground guest use.

This exciting project will transform Jug Handle and serve thousands of school children who come to learn about nature and participate in restoration projects. The facility will also be available for community events, yoga, classes music camp and more.

Stay tuned for further updates.
